RETURNING TO PRACTICE DURING COVID 19
I know like many of you, this has certainly been an interesting year to say the least. It took a great deal of time soul-searching and doing research. But I have decided to return to practice. I truly believe human beings are built for connection and need touch to thrive. So to help you feel more comfortable returning to massage, I wanted to inform you about some of the changes I have made involving extra safety and sanitation measures in every effort to reduce the possibility of Covid-19 transmission.
First and foremost, there are new procedures for clients, including pre-screening calls, to ensure no one who isn't feeling well comes to the office. If a client were to fail the prescreening their appointment will be cancelled and they will be rescheduled without penalty.
This also includes a temperature and O2 screening at the door and the requirement that all people entering, clients and therapist included, wear a mask. Once the front door screening is complete, each client will be asked to go directly to the bathroom to wash their hands before entering the treatment room.
In addition to the regular disinfecting, changing of the linens and other standard procedures, I have implemented the following extra precautions: I will be disinfecting all hard surfaces, door knobs, light switches, pens and clipboards, as well as the bathroom and kitchen surfaces between each and every client. I will be changing out the cover on the treatment room chair, the rug on the floor and my clothes/mask with every single client. Between each client, I will be running a UV/O3 sterilizer and mopping the floors. I will have gloves available to use during each massage if requested and Alcohol Wipes for client use as well.
If you have any questions about any of my new procedures, you are more than welcome to call and we can chat. - Rebecca (512-289-9064)
